MISSION

The Saturnians is a female-led documentary collective.

Consisting of multilingual producers and filmmakers, the Saturnians Film Collective provides a safe space to grow its members’ careers. Combining diverse filmmaking skills and cultural/linguistic knowledge, the collective runs workshops, supports independent project development, and crowdfunds resources. The collective’s dedication is fueled by a passion for ethical filmmaking in a space where members have all too often witnessed dangerous neglect of filmmakers’ duty of care. 

Together, we are navigating the filmmaking field with a strong belief in the power of collective support.
